Why it matters

The prompt is the beginning. The setup makes it reliable.

Ask Matrix to help define an agent for research, operations or a development task. Custom agents are represented by editable instruction files, so you can inspect and improve what the agent has been asked to do.

Run the agent in your Matrix computer with the model and tools you configure. Connected services, channels and schedules require their own setup; a prompt does not silently grant permissions or deploy to every destination. Test one bounded run before making the job recurring.
