Settings And Billing
Manage Matrix power, region, billing, integrations, and runtime settings.
Settings is where you manage the parts of Matrix that should be explicit: account identity, billing, runtime capacity, region, integrations, and connected developer tools.
Billing and plan
Matrix hosted runtime uses Stripe Billing. The hosted Matrix computer requires an active plan before provisioning. Plans map to different default machine sizes for developer workloads.
| Plan | Default machine | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM | Light shell usage, small repos, basic agents. |
| Builder | 4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM | Full-stack development, dev servers, and one or more agents. |
| Max | 12 vCPU, 24 GB RAM | Heavier builds, parallel tests, larger repos, and multiple active sessions. |
Runtime settings
- Power: choose the machine capacity for your workload.
- Region: keep the runtime close to you or your team.
- Runtime status: see whether your Matrix computer is provisioning, running, updating, or unavailable.
- Restart/logs: use runtime controls when a service needs operator attention.
Integrations
Connect services from the Integrations surface. Matrix keeps provider credentials platform-owned and asks for permission before acting through connected services.
Common developer integrations:
- GitHub
- Discord
- Slack
- Gmail
- Calendar
- Drive
Account surfaces
Use Settings for profile, identity, sign-out, billing portal access, and runtime/account-level preferences.
