Workflow automation · proposed

Make the repeatable work work better.

Start with the process, not the prompt. Learn where AI can help, where rules are enough and which decisions should stay with a person.

A useful place
to begin.

Who it’s for

Operations, customer-facing and project professionals who spend time moving information between steps.

Before you begin

Basic AI familiarity. Bring a process you understand; use synthetic information for practice.

What you’ll work towards

A process map, an exception policy and a tested workflow prototype with a named owner.

The proposed path

Learn it.
Then try it.

  1. 01

    See the whole process

Map the trigger, information, decisions, handoffs and final outcome. Identify repeated effort and uncertainty.

  2. 02

    Choose the right mechanism

Use deterministic rules for clear conditions and AI for ambiguous language. Define structured outputs.

  3. 03

    Design for exceptions

Handle duplicate requests, missing information and contradictory details. Keep review before an external action.

  4. 04

    Measure usefulness

Compare quality and review effort with the original process. Document cost, ownership and a way to stop or undo the workflow.

An example of the work

Something you can inspect.

Build an intake flow for fictional supplier requests. Extract the request details, flag missing fields, draft a response and route exceptions for review before anything is sent.

An illustrative exercise from the proposed learning path.

A little more
before you start.

Do I need to automate my whole process?

No. Start with a small, repeatable step. A better handover or a draft that saves review effort can be a useful result.

Can we implement this for our company?

Team discovery and implementation can be scoped separately after a pilot. Real system access and deployment are not included in a course waitlist signup.
